Thank you for considering an ARF dog. Most dogs receive several enquiries, and we aim to match the right dog to the right home so that they can enjoy a happy life together. If your enquiry is unsuccessful, rest assured that the foster carer has carefully based their decision on a thorough knowledge and understanding of the dog’s needs.

Napoleon is assessed as being in the Silver category in our Perfect Match system and is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and available for $350 (incl GST) once he has completed his quarantine and vet work

Napoleon is a relaxed little dog, very social with both people and other dogs.  He will want another dog friend in his new home to play with as he doesn’t like being on his own when his owner goes out. He loves going for a walk and is very enthusiastic but needs some practice walking with his person instead of trying to charge ahead.

He is toilet trained, sleeps in his bed quietly all night, and is happy to sleep in on the cold winter mornings. He has a sunny nature and is full of fun.

More about Napoleon when he has been in care a bit longer.

Time to meet Max AKA “Tigger” as he walks with a bounce in his step – just like Pooh’s good mate.

Max is an amazing guy, he is so happy and busy – he just enjoys life. What a little pocket rocket he is!

Max is a little lacking in the training department as he is only a 1yr old and has had little done by his previous owners, so is what we call a diamond in the rough. He does walk nicely on lead and is crate trained. Max is still working on his house training and this will need to be continued in his new home.

Max adores his people and thrives on being included in the family. He gets on well with other dogs and dog savvy cats.

He would suit an active house hold that will allow him to be inside and will continue his training. and for those interested in more formal dog sports, he would make an awesome Agility dog.

While Max loves to run and play, he also also loves a cuddle and is happy to keep you company on the lounge watching TV. He might be small in stature but he can provide a huge amount of love and fun.

Max is just waiting to be your new best friend.

Topsy is a unique little girl with loads of quirky personality and character.  She is an affectionate and loving little cuddle-pot with lots of expression in her dear little face.

Topsy loves to sit on your lap and watch television with you, literally watching television cheering on the footballers and chasing any animals off the screen.

Topsy loves all her family and friends, both dog and human and is ok with cats. She is very close to her doggy friends in the foster home and is always playing and cuddled up to them. She enjoys a lot of contact with her buddies and must be in a home with another friendly dog for companionship. It is most important for her to be a true, included part of her family.

Topsy does have special needs as she has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and early arthritis in her hips.  She will need a family that will be committed to ongoing management of her hip issues and any pain that could be associated with this in the future. It is likely that this will shorten her life but at this time it is very manageable and she is a very happy little dog.  Topsy is also bald on her underside. A number of tests have been undertaken to determine the cause and it appears that it may be pattern alopecia, meaning that hair will not grow. This condition requires regularly baths and a premium quality diet to keep the skin healthy.

All this aside, Topsy is loved by everyone who meets her and is never short on making new friends. She really is one quirky and cool little dog!
