Thank you for considering an ARF dog. Most dogs receive several enquiries, and we aim to match the right dog to the right home so that they can enjoy a happy life together. If your enquiry is unsuccessful, rest assured that the foster carer has carefully based their decision on a thorough knowledge and understanding of the dog’s needs.
Zee has found herself a new home and will be off out shortly to show them the ropes.
Zee is a cuddly young lady who was surrendered to us after being given away on Gumtree. She was a little unwell at the time and has spent some time building up her health and is now doing well and putting on weight.
Zee LOVES food which means she is super easy to train, she is also very keen to please!
Zee has been living in a foster home with up to five other dogs as well as plenty of visiting dogs and she loves a good game of chasing and ball games in the yard.
In the doggy social world she shows a confident leadership style, so she would love a home where the male dogs fall at her feet and allow her to make the decisions. She meets other dogs well while out and about, but her play style probably doesn’t lend well to dog park type situations.
Zee is a massive cuddler! She loves kids and people of all ages and her favourite thing it to just snuggle into you and watch TV. She has lived with young children and even had a farm stay with cats and did well.
Her short coat will mean she will need to be allowed inside at night and be kept warm on cold Canberra days. She is crate trained, house trained and well behaved in the house…..apart from the occasional zoomie .
