Bonnie

Bonnie

Animal ID No: ARF555
Rescue Date: 29 July 2020
Adopted Date: 28 November 2020

Bonnie is such a gorgeous girl, super loving and friendly once she gets to know you.

When Bonnie first came into care, she had just given birth to Clyde.  A fearful girl, Bonnie had been a stray out in the bush and wondered into a farmhouse starving and soon having her new baby.  Bonnie and Clyde were quickly moved to the ARF foster carer’s home.  Bonnie found having a new baby in a strange place overwhelming and displayed quite a bit of fear aggression over a period of a couple of weeks.  She quickly built her confidence and blossomed into the most beautiful, kind and loving dog.

Bonnie loves getting lots of attention and affection from people. She has also shown herself to be good with the other animals on the farm including dogs, cats and even plays zoomies with the poddy lamb.  Bonnie is happy to be everybody’s friend when her trusted family is around, however she is unsure of people that she is unfamiliar and may bark at them. Bonnie would best suit a home that is experienced with dogs to be able to support her through continuing to build her confidence.  Bonnie needs to be rehomed with another friendly dog for company and confidence.  She would be very happy in a farm type environment, especially as she is good with the other animals.  She will need experienced owners that are prepared to ensure she is comfortable in her environment and to provide her any training she might need.

'Rescued' is my favourite breed
