Evie

Evie

Animal ID No: ARF638
Rescue Date: 28 November 2020
Adopted Date: 3 January 2021

Evie is a delightful little girl, very typical of the Pug breed, she loves people, pats, laps and food!  Evie has come from an outside situation but has taken like a duck to water where being inside is concerned.  She is already queen of the house and is in bliss.  Her house training is still a work in progress but she is pretty good.  She loves the family, and has even started playing with the other dogs.  She has loved every person that has come to our house so far.  Evie absolutely LOVES food and being a Pug is prone to over-eating, so her new family is going to have to be very tough and not give in to those beautiful big dark eyes asking for treats.  The other thing about Pugs is the hair!!!  Right now Evie is losing her coat and the level of Pug fur is something to behold.  Evie has not had a lot of exposure outside the property, so will need to learn to walk on lead, go for drives in the car and become used to a busier life.  She is very smart and has already learned to sit.  She is also a little opinionated and will bark at things going on outside and even barks at her ‘foster dad’ when he isn’t making breakfast and dinner fast enough. So she will need to have a home where there are rules that she will need live by. She has fitted in perfectly into her foster home and we can pretty much guarantee that everyone will fall in love with her. A truly delightful girl who needs a family that are will to be patient and provide her some training.  She would be best suited to a home without small children as she has not been used to them to date.

'Rescued' is my favourite breed
