For an older dog, Pablo has plenty of energy & interest in his world. He enjoys a daily walk/sniff of up to an hour. Pablo is interested in all people we see when out & about. He uses a K-9 halter & walks well on lead. Pablo sits patiently when I put the K-9 on him, & waiting for his meals. He is easily motivated with treats. Pablo has a chronic medical issue with his lungs. This will need ongoing treatment. Pablo is house & crate-trained. We continue to work on “wait” to enter the house, or leave the yard. He has learned “out” of the kitchen. He has not jumped on the furniture. He does rearrange the garden a bit, digging a large hole in the shade under the grape vine, or simply flattening other plants. Pablo travels well in the car wearing a harness. He knows about ball games with his person. With careful introduction, Pablo may be ok with another dog, he settled with my male greyhound without any problems. He has shown little interest in two resident cats. Pablo is best suited to a home where somebody present most of the time.
