Peaches

Peaches

Animal ID No: ARF741
Rescue Date: 16 April 2021
Adopted Date: 21 July 2021

Peaches is a dear sweet girl who has come from a breeding environment and has not had a lot of exposure to normal home life.  This means she is quite fearful however she is getting more confident all the time and she is a super loving, friendly and active.  At this stage she has times of being quite confident one moment but as she is also very sensitive to changing situations and noise she can be quite nervous the next.  Peaches has little training as such just yet but is very willing to learn.  She is working on walking on a lead, sit for a treat and toileting outside at present.  She has started to let you know when she needs to go out by standing near the door and wingeing. Peaches is missing most of her teeth, just having canines really but that doesn’t seem to affect her too much and she still has a love of toys and playing. As Peaches is gaining confidence we are starting to see quite a cheeky and fun loving nature peeping through. Peaches loves to be close to her human and doggy family.  She would really love to be able to be with her human much of the time and does display some separation anxiety at times – however this is improving all the time. Peaches is looking for a more experienced home to manage her shy-at-times nature.  Her new home will need to have a calm, friendly dog for company and no small animals.  Peaches could also be rehomed with Stella as they have become very close buddies in foster care. Due to Peaches sensitivity, she would need a quieter home with any children over the age of 10 years and not rowdy.

Please ensure you can meet the needs of the dogs before enquiring.  These girls are gorgeous but need an experienced home that has the right circumstances and are willing to work with them.  They will not be rehomed to a situation where there are no other dogs for company.

'Rescued' is my favourite breed
