The wonderful things about Tigger

He loves you already even though you only just looked through his portfolio.

Tigger has fantastic indoor manners, sleeps peacefully through the night, loves a good sleep in, and is a very devoted companion and TV buddy. He is equally happy at home out in the garden sunbathing while you work.

Tigger came into care from the pound with a few leg injuries which initially slowed him down and is just about fully recovered from his surgery and rehab. Tigger is looking for a home that is happy to continue his training and rehab work to help build is leg back up again to its former strength.  Tigger is great at bringing a smile to your face even on the toughest of days.  His clownish nature and happy face make him the best buddy to be around.

He’ll come waggily up to you to rest his head on your knee or lean reassuringly against you and then he’ll look in your eyes like he knows exactly what kind of day you’ve had. I wouldn’t put it past him to try and scramble up on to your lap, as his legs improve but, as he weighs in at about 27 kilos, maybe don’t encourage this.

This dog loves absolutely everyone his friendly nature makes him great with kids and he would love to say hello to everyone that he meets.  He can get a bit overexcited at times in meeting new people and on occasion will try to jump up.  Tigger currently lives with 2 other dogs and 3 young kids.  Tigger loves going for short daily walks, and is learning to loose lead walk.  When it comes to seeing/meeting other dogs out on a walk, Tigger can be a bit forward and rude, friendly enough but it’s still rude! Because of this Tigger is learning to keep on walking past without having any interactions.

Tigger is longing to be the only pet in a home with not too many steps and people to provide pats, gentle games and daily walks, if you can give him that, then you make his dreams come true.
