More About Millie

Millie is a 5 year-old crossbreed. She enjoys a gentle scratch behind the ear and a belly rub from trusted companions. Millie will sing you the song of her people when a siren is nearby. She is learning about different sorts of treats and enjoys kangaroo ribs, once she can figure out the best system to eat them. Millie loves a carpet wiggle and a tossing her toys about while waiting for her morning walk, but may stop if she sees you watching.

Millie continues to refine her already good leash manners. She enjoys a walk and a good snooting, particularly in places away from streets and roads. Millie has basic obedience and would benefit from continuing her training. Millie loves a good zoomy in a safe fenced area and will invite you to chase.

Millie is not suited to a household with young children, lots of noise, and lots of visitors. She would like a family with experience with nervous dogs who can read and respect her body language. Her new people will need to gently work to build her confidence and trust.

Millie is untested with cats and other pets. She may like a doggo sibling of similar size with gentle temperament.

Millie is house trained and learning about the dog door. She would love a home where she can be with the family, snooze in a quiet space most of the day, but also have easy access to the yard.

Thank you for considering an ARF dog. Most dogs receive many enquiries, and we aim to match the right dog to the right home so that they can enjoy a happy life together. If your enquiry is unsuccessful, rest assured that the foster carer has carefully based their decision on a thorough knowledge and understanding of the dog’s needs.
