Miss Molly

Molly

Animal ID No: ARF684
Rescue Date: 17 February 2021
Adopted Date: 11 March 2021

Are you home more often than not? Perhaps you live alone and would like a cuddly companion.

Molly is a small purebred staffy of about 10 kgs, she is affectionate, loves people and greets all visitors with a happy wagging tail.  She would be happiest as an only dog where her owner is home most of the time or possibly sharing with an easy going male dog.

She’s a sweet girl who walks nicely on the lead and would rather avoid other dogs when out and about. She does become frightened during thunderstorms and can be destructive if left alone in the house by herself so her new owner will need to manage her fears when a storm hits, she has medication to help with this.  She also has medication in the spring to help with an itchy skin. Molly is used to children who behave well with dogs, but is untested with cats.

Molly is toilet trained, well behaved in the house and is used to sleeping inside.  She can sit,   waits for her dinner, and will go to her bed when told though she doesn’t always stay there.  Molly comes when called and is content to stay at home, she doesn’t try to escape and has no interest in jumping out of her yard.

Molly would make a lovely companion for someone who is home most of the time and who enjoys wandering the many walking paths in Canberra with an enthusiastic little staffy.  Molly would also like a backyard rather than living in an apartment

Molly is only available for rehoming in the Canberra/Queanbeyan region
