Nacho
Why hey there! My name is Nacho (a.k.a. Nachi Wach) and I’m the sweetest, bounciest, lil snuggle bug you’ll ever meet! I cannot overstate how much I LOVE your time, attention, snuggles and pats. If you were my forever hooman, you would never be able to sit down again without me in your lap, or on your shoulder (like a parrot) on the lounge, or draped around your neck like a dog scarf when you’re lying down on the bed.
Up there with pats are walkies. Ermahgerd – I’m such a fan! I’m enthusiastic and curious, but have lived a very sheltered life and can occasionally be reactive to new things and experiences. I’m a sensitive little soul, and when I have big emotions (at home, or out on walkies), I make big noises! But my foster mum and I have been working on it, and I’m getting better and more used to the world every day. It means I’ll need you to be around for the first few weeks to love and support me while I transition into my forever home and become the bestest dog I can be.
I think toys are the bee’s knees! Chewing on them and playing tug is my favourite. While I haven’t come from a home with another dog, my foster brother and I wrestle ALL the time. I just love playing with him and he’s my safety blanket. I’ve enjoyed doggy daycare when I’ve been too. I’d love a forever home with a furry partner-in-crime that is up for some shenanigans.
I’m a smart little boy who just wants to please, so I’ll do well if supported to continue my training – I’m very food motivated! I can sit, wait for my dinner, I’m toilet trained (though initially may be tempted to mark my space) and am a pro at using the dog door. I also sleep through the night in my crate, but will let you know when I think it’s time for our day together to start. I’m good in the car, but very curious to see what’s going on. I’ve been a dream at the vet (all my vet work is up to date) and don’t mind a bath.
My foster mum says she won’t consider parting with me to a home where my hoomans are out a lot. How can I love and snuggle you to bits if you’re not around!? I’ll also need decent daily walkies, as I have curiosity and energy to burn! I’m good with kiddies, do not resource guard, but have not been tested with pets other than doggos.
