Breed: Boxer mix Size: Medium Age: 5 years

Thank you for considering an ARF dog. Most dogs receive several enquiries, and we aim to match the right dog to the right home so that they can enjoy a happy life together. If your enquiry is unsuccessful, rest assured that the foster carer has carefully based their decision on a thorough knowledge and understanding of the dog’s needs.

Sasha is assessed as being in the Silver category in our Perfect Match system and is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and available for $350 (incl GST).

Sasha is a playful, affectionate and friendly dog. Her ideal day is snuggled up with her humans, binge watching the latest show on Netflix.

Sasha’s motivations in life are food and affection. As a result of this, Sasha has been easy to train and is always happy to sit, shake and wait if it results in cuddles or treats. With a little bit of guidance it would be easy to teach this beautiful dog new tricks.

Her playful and happy mannerism is a delight to come home to after a hard day at work and can turn any day into a playful, fun day. Sasha often approaches people (even strangers) with a beautiful full body wag and immediate cuddles. When excited, she often jumps up on people so she would not be ideal in a home with small children. While she has only playful intentions, she still needs some extra training to get her out of this habit.

Sasha’s delightful nature makes it hard not to fall in love with her. If your back is turned, this girl loves to sneak in an opportunity to jump onto a couch or bed where she can cuddle her humans. Make no mistake, she knows how to give puppy dog eyes that would melt anyone’s heart.

She is protective of the house and yard but is by no means a guard dog. Normally she is very quiet until she falls asleep and snores away loudly but soundly.

Sasha needs to be introduced to new dogs slowly and carefully. She often gets too excited and doesn’t get hints from other dogs when she goes over the top.

Sasha’s personality would suit a wide range of families, from a single pooch home with her humans all day, to a busy family that has lots going on. If you are interested, please send me an email. Be warned, you may fall in love with her at first sight (we did)!
