Ally, an absolute sweetheart around 1-2 years old, has just found her forever home, thanks to SavourLife and Petbarn. As an ARF foster dog, she came along with her foster carer to Petbarn Tuggeranong ACT in March, for an instore visit during the Petbarn Savourlife rescue challenge.
She met a lovely family looking for a dog to make their home complete and after an hour of chatting with the family – and with some help from her carer – she was signed up.
Her ARF foster carer says she hadn’t had much done with her in her short life before coming in to ARF care and sometimes took a while to understand that she is safe and secure now and doesn’t need to worry quite so much.
She also took a while to understand that baths can be fun, car trips end in adventures and other dogs aren’t quite as scary as she first thought.
But now that’s all behind her as she enjoys the love of a family and the joy of a home.
