ARF 2020 CALENDAR LAUNCH 

AT WALT & BURLEY, KINGSTON FORESHORE

20 October 2019

Canberra presenter and quiz master extraordinaire, LARRY APPLEY, will launch ARF’s 2020 Calendar at 11.30am on Sunday 20 October at Walt & Burley on the Kingston Foreshore.

The calendar features dogs rescued from local and regional pounds and cared for by ARF volunteers until new loving forever homes are found. Since its inception in 2001, ARF has rescued and rehomed over 3,000 dogs and found homes for hundreds more through its extensive community networks.

ARF works closely with Canberra Pound (Domestic Animal Services) and plays a major role in helping it to maintain a very high rehoming rate. It also works closely with regional pounds including Queanbeyan, Yass, and Goulburn, and with other rescue groups in Canberra and the region.

Many of our 2020 Calendar super-model stars will be at the launch with their new owners, together with some of ARF’s current foster dogs and their carers, and ARF members with their dogs and families –  it’s sure to be a huge, fun event! 

Calendars will be available for $10 at the launch. This event is supported by Walt & Burley who have been one of our major fund-raising sponsors for this year.
