Axel

What a gorgeous, handsome pup Axel is!  With a heart of gold, all he wants to be is your best friend. He adores his cuddles and to be hanging out close by.

Axel has all the makings of a wonderful family companion.  He is a friendly, sociable, loves cuddles, learns quickly and makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world.

Axel is quite the character! He definitely has a bit of a cheeky and fun-loving personality. He can always make you smile as he plays with a toy, tossing it around and chasing it and then gallavanting around the yard with it.  We also marvel at how he can cover himself up with his blanket at night – very cute!

Axel has a zest for life and loves to run.  He would make a great running partner and loves to have a run with his doggy friends.  Axel loves to please and is a very keen learner.  He has added a number of tricks to his bow and can sit, drop, spin a circle, weave through your legs.  He can also sit and wait when doors/gates are opened and sleeps in a crate overnight. He attended some dog classes and he really enjoys doing things like this and they have helped to build his confidence.  He really needs a new owner who is keen to take on his continued training.

His ideal family will have another friendly dog for company and the humans will need to commit to training for him to help to continue to blossom into a well-behaved adult.  He would be suit older/teenage children until he has further training as he tends to jump up, but is improving.
