Bella

This sweet little senior has come into care due to a change in family circumstances.

Bella is 14 years old and is looking for her perfect retirement home. This happy, affectionate little girl still has a lot of love to give and is going to make the ideal couch (and neighbourhood stroll) buddy, for her lucky new owner.

Whilst Bella has some of the usual issues of older age such as mild cataracts, this does not slow her down at all and she gets around perfectly fine, even in new environments.  Bella is very spritely, and she really loves her walks – with plenty of sniffing stops please 😊- and has no problem keeping up with her two year old foster siblings!  She travels well in the car, and is chill with other dogs, cats and people.

Other than her slight eyesight  deterioration, Bella has no known health problems.  She has had a health check since coming into care, which revealed no issues, and had her teeth reviewed and addressed in the last six months.

Bella is very affectionate and loves nothing better than sitting on your knee or curling up in her bed near to you. Her ideal home will be one with someone home most of the day to provide her with the comfort and security she deserves. A home with other gentle dogs would be fine but she is also used to being an only dog. It is not known how she is around children but given her age, a quieter adult home would be preferred.
