Charlie
Charlie is a lovely old boy who was dropped off in the pens at DAS so we don’t know what his real name or age is! But we do know he is a lovely old boy who is just looking to spend his days in a comfy spot. Charlie has now had the vet treatment he needed and is now feeling much better and ready to find his forever couch.
Charlie likes to be close to the people and will spend his days close to you, whether that be in the office, in the garden or on the couch. He has some arthritis and is being treated for Cushings Disease. This means he needs to be on some meds which he will easily take with a treat. He loves his dinner and still enjoys a gentle walk, he likes car rides and sitting right in front of the heater. He’s living with two other dogs at the moment and they get along just fine. He can be a bit full on when first meeting other dogs. He has moments in the day when he barks (although he has been debarked it would seem) when he’s waiting for his dinner or wants some more attention. He still loves to play, will fetch a ball and loves his belly being rubbed!
He’s a pretty chilled guy, who loves very much to be with the people. He needs a family who won’t expect too much of him. He very much wants to be in a comfy spot – not too far from you!
