Charlie

Charlie is a lovely older boy with qualities that will make him a great companion for the right home.  He loves to snuggle up on the couch with his person and he also loves a vigorous play with his toys! Charlie is not suited to a home with children as he is quite anxious around them. He also needs to be the only dog in the home.

Charlie is learning to walk on the lead without pulling and without reacting to other dogs he sees. Although Charlie is around 11 years he’s very active, excitable and sometimes assertive so is looking for a patient owner who can continue his training. Someone with enough experience to help with Charlie’s short-comings! The ideal home would be one where his family were home most of the time as he simply loves being around his people, perhaps someone retired or who works from home.

Charlie has a lovely coat and to keep it in beautiful condition daily brushing and a trip to the groomers once every six weeks will do the trick. His eyes do need a gentle clean once a week. He is a very affectionate boy and will make someone a loyal and loving companion.
