Chase

A little about Chase! Chase is a sweet, loving boy who requires a home where he can receive patience and extra love. He needs to be in a home where he’s the only pet and is suitable for older children. He’s an active dog who would best benefit from a backyard. He’s energetic, vibrant and fun and will spoil you with love! He is quite timid at first but once he gets to know you he will be your best friend.

At home, he likes to sleep for the majority of the day but does get bursts of energy. In those times he started to play with toys/ chewable toys. He loves a good game of tug of war too! He is crate trained and comfortable staying in there all night and also uses it as a time out space. He is toilet trained and obedient in a settled environment.

Chase has a few quirks which are adorable but do need to be managed. Chase likes all the spotlight so when he sees another dog becomes very reactive. He requires an owner who will put dedication and time to walk him each day, specifically assisting in his reactivity towards other dogs. Currently, he is undertaking behavioural walking lessons to ease his nerves when he encounters other dogs, however he does have a long road ahead of him. He needs an owner who will continue this training with him.
