Hello, my name is Cherry. I am a 3y 10mo Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I have not experienced much in life and have a lot of confidence to gain. In my current foster home, I am surrounded by love and warmth. I have a family that go nice and slow with me which is what I need. However, there is this small human who gets a bit flappy and loud at times which kind of scares me. I would prefer to go to a home with no flappy humans. I would also like to go to a home that doesn’t have a lot of visitors as having strangers come and go gives me anxiety. I love being with people I know and trust. I would love to find a family where someone is home often.

My foster mum has taken me for a few little walks to the park which I quite enjoy. They have talked about these things called ‘dog parks’, to be honest this doesn’t sound like much fun to me.

Despite still being quite young (4 is the new 2 don’t you know), I don’t really play all that much. Maybe I can learn but I make no guarantees. I do however, get excited for my dinner!

This one time I met a little furry animal that meowed and hissed at me I barked at it. I don’t want to live with any of these animals. If you have a quiet animal that barks like me I think I could live happily with them but I’m reasonably indifferent.

I am so beautiful and like to stay that way. I don’t really enjoy being bathed and brushed but I will tolerate it as I know ’t’s what helps keep me pretty!

I am really sweet and loving and can’t wait to find a home that will spend time with me showing me that the world isn’t such a scary place to be.

  • Quiet home with no kids (14 years +)
  • Home often (retiree would be perfect)
  • Not a busy home with lots of visitors
  • Confidence building
  • No cats
  • Grooming

'Rescued' is my favourite breed
