Hero

This little half ewok / half grumpy old man is ready to find his furever home.

Hero is the embodiment of a little old man who enjoys the finer things in life, like a comfy bed, sleeping in the sun, delicious food, just to name a few. He is looking for a calm home where he can settle in and hang out with his people.
He loves his daily strolls where he can wander slowly, sniffing his surroundings and exploring new places.
He is an affectionate little guy who loves cuddling up with you on the couch or snuggling in bed.

Hero has dry eye and requires a few different eye gel applications multiple times a day (both morning and evening).
He can be a bit snippy with people he doesn’t trust touching his face, so it’s important to build trust with him and apply the gel in a calm, non-stressful environment (like a quiet room with no other animals).
He will need a home who is dedicated to his ongoing medical care.
He needs a gentle hand and is better suited to a home with no young children.

He isn’t suited to a home with cats or smaller animals and would prefer a home where he is the only dog and can be the apple of your eye.
He can tolerate other dogs, but will spend a good amount of time grumbling at them.

He knows a few commands, a pretends to forget a few when he is being stubborn, but is very treat motivated.
He is great in the car even on long car rides, he will just snooze the time away.
He sleeps through the night in his own bed, but will never say no to coming up for a snuggle in the morning.
