Adopted Date: 1 November 2022

Hi friends! My name is Spike and I’m a pretty cute black and white Staffy (if I do say so myself)!

I love going on walks, playing with my toys, and cuddles on the couch! I have moderate energy but will generally match whatever vibe you want. At this time, I cannot go to a home with small children, I’m still learning not to jump up on people but I never do anything to harm others.

I LOVE toys! Soft toys, hard toys, treat dispensing toys, squeaker toys – I love them all so much! I get so excited to play with my toys and I love playing keep away from my human! I also do this really cute thing where I hold the toy up in my paws while I lay on my back – you’ve gotta see it!

I also love my brekky and dinner! I eat fast but I’m not food aggressive AT ALL, you can take my food, put your hand in my bowl, or pet me while eating and it doesn’t bother me at all.

I don’t have any dog or cat friends living with me right now but I am dog friendly. I didn’t have a good experience living with another doggo in my last home though so I am unsure if I would want to live with another dog permanently.

I know basic obedience like “no”, “sit”, “break” to get my food or toy, and “heal”. I also know a few tricks like shake and touch! I’m also toilet trained and can hold it for 6-8 hours no issues while you’re at work.

I live a pretty luxurious life in my unit in the city! I spend most of my day on my dog bed by the door waiting for my human to come home from work. I get 3 walks a day, and sometimes my human will even go running with me around the neighbourhood. I will happily live in any type of home from a unit to a property!

Overall, my ideal fur-ever home is:

  • Any type of home – unit, townhouse, house, property, etc.
  • No small children
  • Prefer no other dogs, unsure about cats
  • And most importantly, a comfy bed by the door J

'Rescued' is my favourite breed
