Boris

Boris is a gentle giant who, once he gets to know you, will love nothing more than giving kisses and getting cuddles. As Boris is on the bigger side, he would suit a family with older children. Boris shows hesitation to new noises and environments, however once he settled in his environment, he comes out of his shell with more confidence.

Boris knows basic obedience, including, sit, shake and walks extremely well on lead with no pulling and has strong recall skills. He is very well mannered and will sit and wait for his food when instructed to do so. Boris is house trained and when settled in his foster carer’s home, he patiently waits near the door to be let outside. Boris seems a bit nervous when travelling in cars, however should settle and slowly get excited for car rides when he knows they are for fun and adventure.

Boris is always extremely well mannered and gentle. When getting bathed, he patiently stands or sits and does not bark or whine. When being tested against dogs, Boris is cautious but polite, pretty appropriate and as he gets more aroused it looks like he may hump. His behavior was quite good. Boris has not barked once as people walk by his foster carers house with dogs. Boris will need careful introduction with new dogs due to his size, however has shown no aggression to dogs.

Boris is looking for a caring and compassionate home that will give him plenty of cuddles, time, love, and most of all, keep him included in the families activities. He is the purrfect boy, who will fit in with someone who loves nothing more than having a coach potato buddy.
