Finlay

Finlay

Animal ID No: ARF1204
Rescue Date: 22 July 2022
Adopted Date: 9 September 2022

Finlay is one handsome boy. He is use to being both inside and outside but  defiantly prefers being with his people and definitely sleeping indoors . He is good with children but maybe not small children as he is very big and could accidentally knock them over. As you can see below Finlay has some nice obedience under his belt however he can be a bit strong on lead at times. His previous owner was very sad to have to rehome him so wrought out some great info to help him fit into his new home . Finlay knows how to behave inside and is mindful of his toilet manners.

Finley’s Favorite Things

He loves his collar on, he gets anxious and uneasy when off

His favorite thing to do after dinner is playing with his Kmart rope toy

We are still working on bringing the ball back every time, but he loves the large squeak balls from Petbarn.

He sings along as he squeaks any loud toy you give him

Laying in the sun, whether that’s through a window inside or outside in the yard

He enjoys online shopping more than I do as he always gets the empty boxes, it’s messy but it’s worth it when you see him prancing  away with his new box

He is always up for an adventure whether it’s to an oval or to walk around the lake, but he gets tired easily so walks over an hour aren’t ideal

He loves to cuddle, and loves even more when he can tuck his head right into you

He loves hanging his head out of the car window on car trips

likes to play around outside in the sprinkler in summer

Finley’s Fears/Dislikes

The vacuum cleaner and lawn mowers

He doesnt always love a bath

He can get anxious at the vet, so lots of treats and cuddles to distract him while there

Please be mindful when applying for Finlay that he is a big boy and his requirements regarding food vet bills etc need to be considered to be able to give him the best home possible

'Rescued' is my favourite breed
