Flora

Flora is a lovely lady who loves her food, walks and children. She is currently eating home cooked food due to some tummy issues she had when she arrived and has a very healthy appetite. Her life revolves around her walks (which she likes first thing in the morning and mid afternoon) and meal times otherwise she is a definite couch potato when she’s not basking in the sun. Although she does not sit on your lap she is an almost lap dog when on the lounge snuggling up to you. Crate training is not necessary as she is well versed in this and has chosen to sleep in her crate since arriving, but it is possible she will share a bed with anyone who is willing.

When it comes to making friends she has no problems and has even learned to not upset the cat who outweighs her. On walks she knows who has treats and has no hesitation in asking for some and while you’re at it, how about some hugs and kisses.

She is house trained and although she is currently sharing a house with a large cat and a standard poodle she does not like change to the routine and shows her displeasure when you least expect it eg: having another dog stay for a sleepover. Therefore even though she is great with the cat (for obvious reasons) another dog in the house might cause her to act out.
