Freddie

Freddie is a beautiful energetic, loving doggo looking for his fur-ever family to give his love to.

Freddie is a young, gangly teenager and is proving to be nothing other than a real sweetheart. He’s very affectionate and playful. He’s learning how to play with toys and loves to entertain himself by picking up sticks.

This young man walks well on a short lead, heeling most of the time nicely, but is easily distracted by new things. Freddo has been introduced to various livestock and seems non-fussed about the neighbouring horses, alpacas, newly met dogs and chickens, showing little interest when grazing outside his pen.

Freddie’s dream home will be hanging out with an energetic family prepared to give him plenty of daily exercise with walks/runs, playing, cuddles, mental stimulation, obedience and training. All these activities will help him catch up on all the fun things a young dog should be enjoying. In addition, his fur-ever family will be keen to be fully engaged and loving, something he seems to have missed out on during his short life.

Freddie is a smart boy, learning quickly and trying to please by offering appropriate behaviours. However, he can be a little stubborn when he doesn’t want to do something, but hey, who of us isn’t?

Freddie is friendly with other dogs, kids and adults. Freddie will need a secure, large, well-fenced yard and opportunities to exercise outside of his new home. Freddy still has some growing to do, so he will be a big dog with big needs but a big heart to share with the right home.
