Kade

Kade

Animal ID No: ARF823
Rescue Date: 1 August 2021
Adopted Date: 21 August 2021

Kade is a lovely young, gentle, bloke in search of his furever home. He’s at that age where he knows about being a good doggo, but is in constant struggle with the immense fun of puppy mischief!
Kade has some solid basic training and would do well in a home who will continue his development. Kade is small and slender for a Great Dane cross, and is more the size build of a bigger greyhound. He would benefit from the company of an older doggy friend play with and to show him the way in life on those occasions his peeps can’t give him the assurance he might need. He meets and plays with other dogs, but his size and boisterous puppy nature can lead to the occasional misunderstanding, that he’ll shy away from.

Kade loves a good game of tug, ball or zoomies and especially his daily walk. While he walks well on the lead, he can get over excited by birds or other animals, which is something that training and adulthood should go a long way to mitigating in the longer term. He would not be suited to a home with non-doggo animal companions and his size and enthusiasm means he is probably not suitable to be around small children.

Kade is house trained and loves to be with his peeps whenever he can. You should expect that your return home from even a short absence will be met with joyous enthusiasm the second he is released from his sit, which he is trained to do before you open the door for him. He has dreams of a life as a lap dog, practicalities be damned!

'Rescued' is my favourite breed
