Lexie

Lexie is a 3 year old JRT and a little taller than average! She’s a clever, energetic girl who’s looking for her new forever home.  She loves people and going for walks. She would be great doing any sort of training, agility, flyball etc as she has energy to burn. She can already sit, fetch and wait and is ready to learn so much more. She’s treat motivated and learns very quickly. Lexie can be reactive to dogs she meets in the street.

Lexie would suit a family with older children as she can be bouncy! She has some separation anxiety which she is on daily medication for, so would be good for her to have owners who are around during at least part of the day. Her new owner/s will need to help her by having firm boundaries and strategies to help her feel safe. ARF recommends ongoing training for Lexie.

Lexie will make a great companion for someone looking for an open book, full of energy, a happy little soul who is ready to learn from you and with you.
