Missy

Missy is a three month old cattle dog/ ridgeback cross puppy. While her face and colouring are ridgeback she has some heeler freckles on her chest and a heeler stumpy tail. She is a smart, confident pup who has shown resilience , being now in her third home in her short life, just through varying  circumstances.

On just her second day in this home she has learned to negotiate three foster sibling who are three times her size, sussed out the dog doors, shown herself able to settle all night in a crate with just one toilet break, and spent an afternoon lying on a couch in the sun with her new dog family.

She does indicate when she needs to go outside and is very close to being reliably house trained, though she needs to be monitored. She has a healthy appetite and will probably grow to be a medium sized dog.

She has attached herself quickly to her new people and loves to be as close as possible. She fits nicely on a lap.

She shows her training to date with a nice sit and re call, and will wait patiently for her dinner.
