Rescue Date: 12 August 2022
Adopted Date: 30 September 2022

Hi friends! My name is Nala and I’m a staffy x, I have no idea what I’m crossed with but take your best guess! I’m approximately 18 months old and now claim Valentine’s Day 2021 as my birthday – because who doesn’t love this face?

I love going on walks, playing with my human and doggo friends, cuddles on the couch, and learning new tricks! I have moderate energy but will generally match whatever vibe you want. At this time, I cannot go to a home with small children, I’m still learning not to jump up on people or play too “rough” but I never do anything to harm others.

I LOVE food and treats! But I listen well and won’t drool or get in your face when you are trying to ear! I’m also not food aggressive AT ALL, you can take my food, put your hand in my bowl, or pet me while eating and it doesn’t bother me one bit.

I don’t have any dog or cat friends living with me right now but I am dog friendly, and I’d probably do well living with another doggo brother or sister. However, I do get very excited playing with my doggo friends so I’ll need to socialise with dogs that can tolerate my energy. My human doesn’t let me meet other doggos on walks and we are working on controlling my pulling when we see them. However, I’m easy to handle, I just really want to meet new friends!

I know basic obedience like “no”, “sit”, “down”, “break” to get my food or toy, “heal”, and “look”. I also know a few tricks like shake, touch, and middle! I’m pretty smart and eager to learn as much as you’re willing to teach me!

I live a pretty luxurious life in my unit in the city! I spend most of my day on my dog bed by the door waiting for my human to come home from work. I get 3 walks a day, and sometimes my human will even go running with me around the neighbourhood. I will happily live in any type of home from a unit to a property! I’m working on my toilet training, I use my turf pet loo when my human works long hours, and don’t make a mess anywhere else.

Overall, I’m a really good girl who just needs someone with a little patience to teach me good habits and someone to snuggle! I can be needy at times but it is just because I love my human so much!

My ideal fur-ever home is:

  • Any type of home – unit, townhouse, house, property, etc.
  • No small children
  • I wouldn’t mind having another doggo brother or sister
  • And most importantly a comfy bed by the door J
