Paddy

Paddy

Animal ID No: ARF117
Rescue Date: 17 May 2019
Adopted Date: 1 January 2020

Paddy is a very happy dog who has settled beautifully into his foster home. He is super affectionate and his tail is constantly wagging because he loves his humans and wants to be included in all family activities.

Paddy is a wonderfully athletic boy who would love his new owner to be interested in outdoor activities which they could share and enjoy together. He shows the potential to be an absolute whizz at dog agility or similar dog sports activities and is currently enrolled in a beginner’s Agility Course with a local trainer.

This is a boy who wants to explore and experience life and he would love a family which shares a similar joy for life. He wakes up ready to fill his day with adventures and enthusiasm. However, after a brisk session is happy to chill out snoozing on his bed, preferably with his humans nearby.

Paddy needs a home where he can share his joy in a routine of daily walks, exercise and play. He can be a goofball when he is active and running, so may be (or maybe not) too boisterous and energetic for small children. His new family will need to continue his training. This will assist him in his quest to become a good canine citizen and becoming more confident and independent. His initial training has been an easy task because he loves his treats.
He loves an opportunity to play with his toys and will happily chew, squeak, throw and chase and then put them all back in his toy box. You may need an extra supply of tennis balls to cater for one of his favourite activities.
Paddy has been living as an only dog with his carers and gets on well with other dogs. We feel that he would potentially enjoy the company of another doggy companion, as he becomes distressed if left alone by himself or too long.

He has recently been part of a dog walking group with a local training organisation and is now enrolled in their Out n’ About Daycare programme one day a week, where he has the opportunity to run, learn and interact with many doggy companions.

He travels well in the car and is happy to sit and gaze out the window at the passing scenery.

This lovely boy is looking for a family who will include him in all aspects of their lives.  If you are interested in finding out more about Paddy, please contact his foster carers.

'Rescued' is my favourite breed
