Dolly

Dolly is ready to go to her new home and has endless amounts of love to give. She is a playful young Shar Pei x (around 18 months old).

Dolly’s favourite things:  squeaky soft toys, walks, sniffing, swimming, and spending lots of time with her humans. Dolly had a rough start and came to ARF after being left at a local pound.  She had recently had puppies and was extremely underweight. Despite this she has bounced back and shown us what a lovely young dog she is.

Training: She knows basic training and can sit, lie down, and wait for her food. She is not possessive over toys or food and is super gentle when she takes treats. She’s still young, so is playful and can get excited and jumpy, so will need you go help get to her best doggy behaviour. She needs nice slow introductions to other dogs so she realises everything is okay.

Energy: She has moderate energy levels, and would love a home with a garden and to be taken on a daily walk. Once she’s had her walk she’s happy to sleep the day away. She can be strong on lead but is improving with every walk. She doesn’t dig holes, and will only bark to let you know someone’s at the door!

Perfect home: A home with lots of love. She would do well in a family with older children and is happy on her own. She would prefer to live in a home without smaller doggy companions or cats. She’s a happy girl, who is treat motivated and eager to learn more – she’d love to hear from you.

Dolly is desexed, loves to travel in the car, is housetrained and all her vaccinations are up to date.  What are you waiting for?
