More About Spider

Spider is the son of Rocky on this page and sister of Angie.

Being siblings and spending their life together so far, it would be preferable for Spider and Angie to be rehomed together. However, being rehomed separately may be considered if there is another friendly dog present in the home.

Spider is a very friendly and gentle boy however he is a little timid. He has been trained as a working dog (sheep), though he is now perfecting and enjoying being an integral part of the family home and life. He is not a particularly active dog however will require regular exercise and ongoing training. Spider has been well behaved on our farm as a companion, and is good with our other animals.

Being typical of the working dog breed, Spider likes to be very close to his people and home. He is a very easy dog to have around and will make a wonderful addition to a loving family. Spider has shown himself to be generally okay around children, however as she is a little timid at times, it would be best for children in her new home to be gentle and over the age of 6 years.

Thank you for considering an ARF dog. Most dogs receive several enquiries, and we aim to match the right dog to the right home so that they can enjoy a happy life together. If your enquiry is successful, rest assured that the foster carer has carefully based their decision on a thorough knowledge and understanding of the dog’s needs.
