More About Nikki

Nikki is a sassy, energetic, loving and intelligent teenager who is eager to learn.

She is a great companion, loves a cuddle and wants to be involved in what’s going on around her, but she also is independent and happy to play by herself. Nikki likes to be busy and is always ready for action, especially a game of tug! Having said that, Nikki also enjoys laying on the backdoor step for her rest time. She gets on very well with her two foster siblings and would enjoy the company of a four legged friend in her new home.

A home with space to move and plenty of daily physical activity, training and mental stimulation (trick training, scent work, puzzle toys etc) will help Nikki thrive. With her eagerness to learn and natural athleticism, she will excel in dog sports such as agility, flyball and other activities that challenge her physically and/or mentally.

Nikki sleeps through the night, is house trained (except for the occasional excited wee) and her training is going well. She walks nicely in a harness with just an occasional reminder not to pull. And she loooves travelling in the car!

Nikki will thrive in a family who understand the needs of a young working dog and are committed to fulfilling her inherent needs.

Thank you for considering an ARF dog. Most dogs receive many enquiries, and we aim to match the right dog to the right home so that they can enjoy a happy life together. If your enquiry is unsuccessful, rest assured that the foster carer has carefully based their decision on a thorough knowledge and understanding of the dog’s needs.
